2. Timetable off... 'cause they have ZERO political support for such a move
right now.

It could prompt instant mass demonstrations against shrubco and impeachment calls.

6. The June invasion prophecies were unconditional.
The boldest foreign policy initiative taken in the last few decades really requires the appointment of a Wilfred Brimley lookalike to the ambassadorship of an organization that the Bush Administration thinks is irrelevant?

25. The president could always call off or delay an action.

Why dont we give it a little time, if they predicted June and it happens in July, I think most people will call it a pretty good prediction.

5. I always felt Bush won't invade
Just as I've always felt the draft isn't coming back, just as I always felt Saddam had no WMD, just as I always felt Iraq would become a quagmire if we invaded. I'm doing excellent in my predictions since March 2003.

In the last few months, I've been predicting that over 50 percent of the troops in Iraq will be home by Nov. 2006 while the remainder of the troops will sit in the 4 permanent military bases until they get kicked out of the country within 5 years.

7. Many people said that, and yes they have something to answer for
but I am on record as saying that the Iran war is in late 2006 or 2007.

11. I think it all depends
On how many seats they still have. Not everywhere has voting machine's (we don't). So they could still lose a lot of seats. If they don't have the support to go to war then there's no way they can BS us this time. And if we get the majority again hopefully we'll be able to do an DSM investigation and impeach the whole gang and then Pelsoi can be the majority in the House and choose our new president and VP (Kerry/Edwards!).

8. Given Shrub's failed pep rally last night; and his plummeting numbers...
he clearly needs to do something macho quick...or FIND a need to do something "on the defensive" macho. Something major SOON, including Iran, would not surprise me.

9. Well it seems the
war in Iraq started before anyone knew it had, who's to say war in Iran will be any different, only time will tell.

Nothing is as it appears.

12. Right
Didn't Iraq happen a couple months before we actually went in with air bombs? According to the guy who wrote the book "Losing Iraq" on an interview about a week or two ago on Bernie Ward's show he said an air attack would be impossible because of how their program is set up.

14. If there was any way this administration
could already BE in Iran, they would be there. They have so drained the military and mismanaged resources, how could they fight another war now?

But in my heart of hearts I know that the greedy warmongers would invade every oil-producing nation they could. They would have to have another terra-ist attack to gain support; they would have to somehow tie it to Iran; they would have to institute a draft.

But they are being watched much more carefully now. Any more MIHOPs or LIHOPs are going to be scrutinized by a majority of Americans if current polls are any indication. And this administration depends on secrecy, lies and ignorant Americans to carry out its evil.

Their secrets are out; their lies are exposed, and Americans are slowly but surely waking up....

:eyes:

I guess, for some unknown reason, they just had to postpone it for a while.

Now, let's not get cocky. Keep your eyes on the target. Can their be a counter coup building against the neocons? If so, what form could it take? What is really at stake here?

Is there anything up to US, that is, you and I and the other denizens of DU?

We may have moved a step closer. Then again, Poppy Bush had something to do with the release date, so maybe there's a family connection.

23. I told you I wasn't worried, and I'm still not...
I think they've figured out that they're facing a damn good chance of a mutiny (particularly by National Guard units) if they order an invasion of Iran.

Our military commanders are stretched so thin that they're at their wits' end just figuring out how to sustain this mess in Iraq; any orders for another invasion would put them over the edge.
