AARLC.org: Anyone ready to literally DIE laughing....
I saw this in Al Franken's book.

http://www.aarlc.org/index.shtml

The AARLC is the African-American Republican Leadership Council. I know that sounds like an oxymoron (which it is), but take a look at this: What I have here is a list of their advisory panel. Please let me know if you notice anything strange here.

Alex-St. James
Chairman

Senator Edward W. Brooke, III
Honorary Chairman
(R-MA) Retired

David Keene
Honorary Co-Chairman
Chairman, American Conservative Union

Hon. Winsome E. Sears
Local and State Co-Chairman

Advisory Panel
Steve Baldwin
Gary Bauer
Ken Connor
Becky Norton Dunlop
Charles Evers
Sean Hannity
Richard Lessner
Connie Mackey
Stephen Moore
Terry Neese
Grover Norquist
Rev. Jesse Peterson
Rev. Lou Sheldon
Kenneth Timmerman
Paul Weyrich

Anybody??? Anybody???

5. A list as white as snow...
there are so many gems from that book...this was a classic. "Black Republican" is akin to "honest Bush family member"...there may be a few in existence, but mostly thought to be an urban legend

6. I was too distracted by the booger colored navigation menu
... to notice anything else. My guess is very few on the council are African Americans? Do I win a prize?

7. We're all winners here....
Even the Honorary Chairman, former Senator Brooke (an actual African-American!) said:

"...right now the Republican Party and African-Americans have a large rift."

You can't make this stuff up....

11. Understatement of the week.
The father of JC Watts, black Republican from Oklahama, said it best: "A black man voting for the Republicans makes about as much sense as a chicken voting for Colonel Sanders."

9. IIRC, Kenneth Timmerman has written at least 1 book that
rails AGAINST Jesse Jackson! You know the theme, he "shakes down the white man through boycotts, blah blah blah, racist invectives, blah blah blah.

Nice choice for the AARLC!

10. Interesting that they link to the Lynching Museum
as if these members of the Advisory Board wouldn't be the ones doing the lynching if it were 80 years ago...
