Anybody else watching this show by Morgan Spurlock of "Supersize Me"?
Tonight's episode was about a Christian from West Virginia spending 30 days as a Muslim.
Intense. I wish every American would watch this episode.

2. Whew! I thought I was the only one watching it! |

I've gotta give the W. Va. guy credit for agreeing to do this. I found myself holding my breath a couple of times waiting to see what he would do. I also wish every American could see it. I was pretty disgusted by the responses when Spurlock was doing his on-the-street interviews. I didn't know Dearborn was getting "Moslemized"...did you?

6. I couldn't believe those on-the-street comments |
|
I've been telling myself that there are only a small minority of people who think that way...but, yikes...that was disturbing.
What was really interesting was the fear some of those people had (including the subject of the "experiment") that the Arabic words of the prayers and calls-to-prayer had anti-Christian, anti-American messages in them. :wtf:

3. Just got done watching it |

Great show. I have never used the term must-see TV before, but this definitely fits the bill.
Mind you, this show is strictly about the personal experience. The bigger issues are presented very condensed.

a gun toting conservative living 30 days with a gay man in San Fran.
I really liked that episode as well, I'm kinda sad I missed the first one where him and his wife tried to live 30 days on minimum wage. who would have thought someone actually would've come up with reality TV that has a message.

7. The first episode was great |

For those of us who've lived or live on minimum wage, it was nothing new, but I'm sure many people just don't get how inhumanly hard it can be. If only we could make congressional Repubs live on minimum wage for a month.
