Why does the news take great pains to get shark attack relatives |
|
on the news very quickly, but it shuns getting relatives of fallen soldiers on the air. Are they just afraid to bring the war into our houses by talking about the daily death happening or do they want to give fallen soldier relatives more respect than the Aruba and shark stories. 17 soldiers die (I know the names haven't been released) and we get no faces to see and bring home the destruction to their lives all these families must be experiencing.

1. Which also begs the question ... |

Why all this *intense focus* this summer on ONLY sensationalist stories like shark attacks and a missing adult blond, blue eyed woman (18 y.o.)?
These obsessions are morally bankrupt and parasitically voyeuristic of what should be a local matter at least beyond first few newscasts.
