Who Will Ask the Question, “What Sacrifice?” |
|
Edited on Thu Jun-30-05 07:51 AM by The Whiskey Priest
In response to the question about the worth of the Iraq war, Bush said “the sacrifice is worth it;” the real question should have been what sacrifices.
Like Vietnam, those sacrificing are the young men who are in the war zone having their bodies torn apart, the Iraqi population and future generations who will have to pony up the money for this madness.
The Republican way of keeping the voters happy is limit the sacrifice to the troops, a foreign population and future generations. The rest of the population needs to keep the doors of Walmart swinging.

was making any sacrifices... Did you?
Yes, I noted the irony in that statement.
Perhaps his daughters should enlist and volunteer for duty in Iraq.

2. Sacrafice...Let Us Count The Way |
|
- A Stupid Yellow magnet on your SUV - Wearing a stupid flag lapel on your jacket or having a flag tatooed on your ass - Standing up when the National Anthem is played...even in their living room and it perils spilling their beer - When The Going Gets Tough...the Tough Go Shopping - I'll fight for my country as a proud member of the 101st Keyboard brigade...those A-rabs will never take this basement and me alive!!!!
Sacrafice? To most Repugnicans that means having to putting up with "colored people" or "libruls"...they've been in their fishbowl for so long they have no concept of anything but their own arrogance wrapped in ignorance.
Be prepared...these people will never go away. The best we can do is beat them down and out of power and let 'em bitch in the corner. They'll never have any sense of responsibility...they've gotten away with so much for so long.
