A Rant about BushCo's little stunt.

I will admit that I didn't watch his speech the other night. I just can't look at the face of evil for that long. But by many accounts I heard he got all choked up at the end of it. I have been thinking about that ever since, and finding myself more and more disgusted. So allow me the following rant, which I write directly to BushCo:

"FUCK OFF you lying sack of shit! First of all, I know your little crying stunt was just that, a stunt. Talk about a slap in the face to all those soldiers sitting there, all the families crying REAL tears over the senseless loss of their loved ones. Just how much lower do you plan on going? Because I think we might need to talk to Dante about adding a new circle to hell for your sorry ass.

And even if you were really crying, FUCK YOU anyway. YOU don't get to cry because this is ALL YOUR FUCKING FAULT YOU ASSHAT!!!! You created this hell and everyone else has to pay the fucking price. Don't give us some bullshit about how you know how "hard" it is and how it's worth the sacrifice. YOU HAVEN'T MADE ANY FUCKING SACRIFICES. You and your corporate sponsors are making money hand over fist and none of you can be bothered to face the fact that your boatloads of cash are floating on a river of blood. Let alone have any of you sent your precious children to fight this "good fight" against "evildoers" who are swarthy and therefore "responsible" for 9/11.

Talk to me when, in your family alone, you have someone fighting in Iraq who has had to stay way longer than promised, someone who's lost their job because our economy sucks, someone who's gone bankrupt because of unforeseen medical expenses (and no insurance), someone who had to drop out of college because of lack of funds, someone who's asthma has worsened due to higher pollution (and fewer restrictions), and someone who has to work two jobs to send their child to private school because the school district in their town is so badly underfunded the children can't learn. Talk to me then and tell me if you think it's still worth it.

Until then, your little crying routine won't elicit any response from me other than complete disgust.

P.S. By the way, the above describes my family, and my family doesn't have it nearly as hard as some do. So far my family hasn't lost anyone in Iraq. And my family didn't lose someone on 9/11 only to have their memory falsely pimped out every time you need to brainwash the American public. Lots of families have it way worse than mine, and I doubt any of them think your little lifesize game of Risk is worth it."
