My GOSH but Laura's "private trip" is turning out to be a long one!

PHOENIX, June 22 - First Lady Laura Bush and her daughter Jenna are visiting the Grand Canyon. Their visit was mentioned by President Bush in a speech today.

He gave no details and the First Lady's office isn't commenting, beyond saying she is on a private trip.

Laura meets up with some of her old friends and they "do" a national park. I remember this because last year (or maybe the year before) they came to my state and camped in the Olympic National Park. I don't know if this is the case this summer and I have no idea if Jenna went with her.
