I can't read the morning newspapers anymore. |

I've subscribed to the NY Times for years and the first words I've uttered or thought every morning, regarding BushCo, have been, "I hate these miserable fuckers."
Not that the NY Times gives us, (as they claim), "All The News That's Fit To Print." But they do give us enough to piss us off. I've reached the point where I can't read the morning headlines, whether it's the NY Times or my local paper.
"We The People" have been so fucked over by the foreign and domestic policies of BushCo that our country is barely recognizable by anyone who grew up here.
Hundreds of threads on DU have documented the crimes (foreign and domestic) committed by BushCo.
I never understood how a civilized people (such as the Germans) allowed their country to fall into the hands of barbarians. And anyone who wants to object to my comparison to Germany of the '30s, please, get your head out of your ass. And that's not meant as an insult. It's a plea. And it's a wake-up call.

1. Any paper that needs a slogan is pathetic... |
|
That's why Faux News has a slogan, because it somehow legitimizes the horrible brand of opinion based reporting into more of a "news" type package.
Stay with your local paper. If there is something happening in your community that pisses you off, you have the ability to change it.
