2. I guess being a well regarded Professor at one of our most prestigious
schools does not give you credibility that a third rate scoundrel commands.

4. He has said that Bush was very boastful about his ability to avoid the
draft because of his father's influence. He has said that Bush was contemptuous of other students who were studying hard and told the Professor that he will most likely land a better job over all of them.He told the Professor he does not intend to study because it was a waste of time for him.

Should I go on?

5. This doesn't surprise me, but odds are no one will believe it unless
there is film footage. *sigh*

6. Lies, all lies, a typical liberal professor who hates our fearless
leader, send him to the tropics and feed him rice pilaf!

7. Here are some other things about Bush he has said....
As someone mentioned, he has said Bush came to class all the time, wearing a Texas Air National Guard bomber jacket. That Bush was fanatical in his support of the Vietnam war, but bragged about using his Daddy's connections to get him out.

But he also revealed some other things:

1. He said even then, Bush was a major liar. He said Bush would say something one minute, and then turn right around minutes later and deny he had said what he just said! He said whenever a fellow student would challenge him on it, Bush would smear that person. Bush would come up to him after class, and start trashing whoever had just called him out on a lie. He would tell the professor "so and so is drinking too much."

2. He said that as the Energy Crisis raged on, the class got into a discussion about whether the federal government had a moral obligation to help retirees and othe people on fixed incomes with their home heating bills. He said Bush spoke up and said no, the government was not obligated, because "poor people are lazy people." When he challenged Bush on that, Bush couldn't back up his statement.

3. He said Bush dismissed the Civil Rights Movement, Social Security, etc. as just "socialism."

9. Oh yea, I also forgot to add.....
That he compared Bush to Rep. Chris Cox (R-CA). He also taught Chris Cox, although Cox and Bush were not in the same class.

He said he thought of Chris Cox as a more "principled" conservative.

He said if Chris Cox and George Bush had been in the same class, he would have asked Cox to stand up and challenge Bush, when Bush made the statement about poor people being lazy people. He said Cox would have challenged Bush not emotionally, but intellectually.

8. I remember hearing him interviewed on AAR...
...a while back. Said that he was convinced when * ran that there was no way the American people wouldn't see through the BS. Obviously the professor had too much faith in 'Murkans.

Seriously, though, this guy is great. I heard him agains recently--I think on Ring of Fire. He has clear insight into the "character" of the worthless POS *.

As I recall, * used to spout the toxic garbage, probably learned at the knee of his vile mother, that SS is socialism, people are poor because they're lazy, etc.

The prof also recalled * as one of his worst students. Has a lot more to say about the defective character of * (used to lie about not being able to do assignments, etc.).

10. Remember what the co-founder of the Carlyle Group said about him?
GW once worked for Carlyle subsidiary Caterair. This is what David Rubenstein, co-founder of the Carlyle Group, had to say about GW Bush:

(snip)

But when we were putting the board together (for Caterair), somebody (Fred Malek) came to me and said, look there is a guy (George W Bush) who would like to be on the board. He's kind of down on his luck a bit. Needs a job. Needs a board position. Needs some board positions. Could you put him on the board? Pay him a salary and he'll be a good board member and be a loyal vote for the management and so forth.

I said well we're not usually in that business. But okay, let me meet the guy. I met the guy. I said I don't think he adds that much value. We'll put him on the board because - you know - we'll do a favor for this guy; he's done a favor for us.

We put him on the board and (he) spent three years. Came to all the meetings. Told a lot of jokes. Not that many clean ones. And after a while I kind of said to him, after about three years - you know, I'm not sure this is really for you. Maybe you should do something else. Because I don't think you're adding that much value to the board. You don't know that much about the company.

He said, well I think I'm getting out of this business anyway. And I don't really like it that much. So I'm probably going to resign from the board.

And I said, thanks - didn't think I'd ever see him again. His name is George W. Bush. He became President of the United States. So you know if you said to me, name 25 million people who would maybe be President of the United States, he wouldn't have been in that category. So you never know. Anyway, I haven't been invited to the White House for any things.

11. I'm nominating for Greatest Page...
Because I think this professor's insights into Bush speak volume about the quality, or lack thereof, of Bush's character. I think everyone should send this information to their Repug friends. I know I did today.
