Something about this recall just doesn't seem right
So let's say 49% of the people vote to keep Gray in office. That means he is out. Then just hypothetically, Arnold wins with 30% of the people voting for him?

Now how is it a democracy when 49% of the people vote for one person, and 30% vote for another, and the one with 30% wins? Something is very wrong with that.

2. Don't forget the 12% it takes to even call this stupid thing!
People signing the recall petition on their way out of the supermarket or on their way into Starbucks....those are the *real* activists, LOL.

This whole thing is really a circus. I hope Davis wins this thing, because it is one sorry state of affairs over there.

4. It'll get worse
It'll be 12% of whatever # make up the recall election.

So the actual # could be even smaller.

6. If Arnie Wins, I Wonder How Long it will take
him to try to ram through a bill to retool the recall law?

5. Finally hit home, didn't it?
The ONLY way the repugs can win in CA is through a recall; otherwise the most reasonable ( ie liberal) republican gets eaten alive in the primary. Even then, they only consist of 35-42% of the electorate.

Yes, this is as close as they can get ; and it's totally by design of republican Trotskyite Grover Norquist; who articulated a national plan to foment partisan discord at the state level; he is convinced this sad state of affairs favors repugs natioally.

8. And when noncitizens as well as citizens are paid to collect petitions...
It just stinks.
