1. Have to wait 6 mos. according to the Constitution
Better yet, amend the state Constitution to get rid of the recall.

2. The Repukes started as soon as the 2002 election was over...
are you sure that's what the Constitution requires?

3. Could there be an Initiative to end the Initiatve?
Seriously, can some group sponsor an initiave to reform the initiative process?

Not a Californian, but seems to me the initiative system is seriously broken. Keeps passing dumb or just pointless measures. Gives -more- power to the wealthy.

Examle of Dumb: The signs outside the Hotel--"This building contains substances known to the State of Calif to cause cancer". They're talking about cigarette smoke, I guess. Or 100,000 other things. Every building has one. Nobody pays attention, or could. An initiave did this nonsense.

Of course the crippling tax 'reforms' are more serious.

4. I think it was Bustamante that said
that there are already plans to "recall the Republican governor" if one is elected.
He said this to explain how ridiculous this whole thing is.

6. If I were in California I would sign up
After watching the debate and seeing Arnold. If California elects him they must be stupid.
But Fox and MSNBC said he did a good job. What a spin.

7. I love the idea of recalling any repuke who gets elected.
Yeah, it's expensive, but it will show them they can't get away with that crap without a price.

Then change the constitution.

8. Joe Conason said in his column
on Salon that he's been assured by Dem activists that this will be what happens if a repuke gets in. Done deal.
