Is Tough Crowd right wing agitprop added to balance Daily Show? |
|

I had Colin Quinn, who I had no idea was such a reactionary, (unless he's one of the centrists who's gone chickenshit after mainland America was attacked for the first time since the war of 1812, and wants war on the world and damn the civilian casualties as long as he's safe from harm) on for five seconds and had to turn it off.
As if the only way to protect ourselves is to kill our enemies.
Totally bought the idea that we fought Saddam to liberate the people of Iraq.
Is the idea to rebrainwash people who have had a glimpse of truth after the Daily Show? Does anybody watch this? When the comics come on does it get any better?

it gets WORSE. This show is TERRIBLE! Quinn is just plain embarrassing. Most of the "comedians" are misogynist butt wipes who dismiss any real ideas, or real comedy, for that matter. I have been offended more than once by the racial, religious and sexist slurs they toss around and treat as humor. Even Jon Stewart looks uncomfortable when he's on the "panel". Those who are attracted to this level of discussion would fare far better watching the Man Show, where their He-Man anecdotes are served undiluted.

3. You know how you let a show play cause you had the tv on... |
|
...well, that doesn't happen with that show.
The Daily Show makes it look even worse because The Daily Show has a show with clever skits and a understanding of media and poltical manipulation, as well as an appreciation for the absurd in American life.
When the mouth-breathing knuckle-draggers open their mouths, I'd rather watch an infomercial for back hair removal.
actually, that infomercial is kinda funny in a revolting way.

clicking directly after the Daily Show is deafening. They're to the point of begging people to watch Quinn after TDS.

5. Yes, and it's un-entertaining, as well! |
|
Even Richard Belzer's presence on the panel tonight didn't save the show from *sucking*. Comedy Central should just air a re-run of the previous night's Daily Show in that timeslot, and actually keep viewers...
