Internship with the Congressional Leadership? |
|
Has anyone ever interned for a Democratic leader in Congress (speaker, pro temp, majority leader, minority leader, whips)? Does anyone know if it's possible to intern for a leader on a national level (as opposed to their individual constituencies)?
What do interns do? I've just entered college and am looking for some informed answers!

1. Do you live in their states or districts |
|
If so you should inquire and send your resume to the Chief of Staff. Then I would call and find out.

No, I do not. Hence I was wondering if there were opportunities based upon the national constituency of the Party.

If your looking to intern for something on the national level you should focus on working for the DNC or one of the other Party committees.
Also, go to www.winningpolitics.com and look up Contact info for Gail and internships. It's in Akron. Great program, I'm in it.
