"Republicans think morality only applies to sexuality"......... |
|
Great line by Arianna Huffington last night in the debate. Budget busting deficits are reason enough for these hypocrites to launch a recall for governor but a badge of honor when it comes to their lying liar pResident George Whistle-Ass Bush.

1. I didn't hear that but I saw her line about Arnie and women... |
|
Good stuff. I question her motives for getting into this race, but there's no doubt she had some good lines

Pre-emptively invade poor countries. Blow the arms off of children. Bomb thousands of civilians. Steal from The Treasury. Ruin this beautiful country so our children and grandchildren will not enjoy the legacy left us by our predacessors. Rip off all of your employees' retirement funds. Rape the environment. Have no regard for animals--use their skins for embellishment and slaughter them in the billions so you can pack that extra Big Mac on your already too fat ass. That's okay, if you don't have sex <said with derision> except for procreation, you are 'moral'. Sorry, this gets me riled up. Sex is the most natural and enjoyable part of being human, and these people make it into an off-color frat joke.

Ask about Joe Scarborough, Newt Gingrich, Bob Barr, Henry Hyde, Bob Livingston, etc. These are all considered "good men."
Now, if only republicans felt the same way about greed and killing for greed...
Not likely. :dunce:

'Hollywood Actors'. You don't hear it anymore, funny, huh? Do Republicans even engage their brains or is Rove the only one? They get their talking points and that's all they need to know for the day.

9. So true, I thought that actors... |
|
were supposed to stay out of politics. But, they can speak only if they're chanting the party line.
Arnold isn't really an actor, so I guess he doesn't count. Oh, and he running as an (R), and that's okay, right?
P.S. I liked "Kindergarden Cop," but the kids made the movie work, not Arnold.

6. Greed and killing for greed: you have defined the essence of their |
|
beings, their souls, for almost everything they do or espouse, every policy or action, centers on greed, the enrichment of a few at the expense of the treasury and the general population.

8. favorite quote re: reupugs . . . |
|
"The cornerstones of conservative ethos are sexual hysteria, meanness, and hypocrisy. It all fits together -- if they weren't so fucked up about sex, they wouldn't want to be so mean, and they wouldn't have to be so hypocritical." Rod Downey
