Rush Limbaugh attacks Clark in the WSJ
Edited on Thu Sep-25-03 09:38 AM by WhoCountsTheVotes
The whores at the Wall Street Journal editorial page printed an anti-Clark hit piece by Rush Limbaugh.

http://www.opinionjournal.com/editorial/feature.html?id=110004060

And here Limbaugh is using the "Gore attack" trying to paint Clark as crazy or unstable or pathological, comapring him to failed Democratic presidential candidate General McClellan.

"There was also a peculiar side to McClellan. Without provocation, from time to time he would announce that he had no intention of becoming a dictator. And, to be honest, there's something odd about Gen. Clark's personality."

Limbaugh goes through the litany about Clark, but it's nothing you haven't read here on DU. The WSJ will give away Limbaugh's piece for free, since it's not worth anything. Unfortunately, you have to pay for the other articles, a serious look at Clark by Hunt, and the main editorial attacking Dean for not being pro-Nafta enough - a huge point in Dean's favor as far as I'm concerned. Another editorial mentions that GOP insiders are worried that Bush could lose.

1. A very common RW tactic: "you're crazy"
Edited on Thu Sep-25-03 09:40 AM by AP
They try to make it seem like dissenting with the RWers' view of the world is a sign of some pathological disorder.

It's a way to not have to address the arguments. If they say you're crazy, they can dismiss everything you argue without having to address it.

13. they are nervous - about Clark, Dean, and Bush losing
Pick up today's copy, there are a few editorials worth reading. The WSJ editorial pages are worried about the "protectionist" rhetoric coming out of the Democratic party. They praise Clinton for his strong pro-Nafta platform, and they attack Dean for saying he'll add environmental and labor protections to the trade agreement, and even quote Lieberman slurring Dean (no surprise here). My estimation of Dean is greatly enhanced when the WSJ editorial page attacks him over Nafta. Perhaps they do regard Dean as a serious threat.

12. Limbaugh in WSJ?
Hallelujah. It's great news--the WSJ has betrayed their true colors (not that we didn't know them already). Very humorous.
