1. MSNBC said it was MINUTES before the attack
it doesn't sound like they had much warning.

2. Nice of them to warn the Israelis first
before they let their own people know? WTF?

6. Not sure i buy that. Why would that happen. Unless they got false info
that the Israeli embassy was going to be attacked. Other wise i don't see the logic.

8. Central London has high profile people in it daily. Also the explosions
happened underground. Not an attempt to blow up the hotel. I think we should be thinking about the Londoners who have died rather than wildy speculating.

10. See the report below
Supposedly this info is coming out Scotland Yard. This is not speculation.

9. Report: Israel was warned ahead of first blast
http://www.israelnationalnews.com/news.php3?id=85346

Army Radio quoting unconfirmed reliable sources reported a short time ago that Scotland Yard had intelligence warnings of the attacks a short time before they occurred.

The Israeli Embassy in London was notified in advance, resulting in Finance Minister Binyamin Netanyahu remaining in his hotel room rather than make his way to the hotel adjacent to the site of the first explosion, a Liverpool Street train station, where he was to address and economic summit.

At present, train and bus service in London have been suspended following the series of attacks. No terrorist organization has claimed responsibility at this time.

Israeli officials stress the advanced Scotland Yard warning does not in any way indicate Israel was the target in the series of apparent terror attacks.

11. I find this bizarre. The only thing i can think was sketchy intelligence
around the tube station nearest to the Israeli embassy and Scotland Yard deduced that the embassy may be the target.

12. Probably not just the Israelis
I'm guessing that it's SOP to inform all embassies in such circumstances. Certainly one would expect all police on diplomatic protection duties to get the word very quickly.

14. What I find Interesting is that
One of the entries on the Guardian

John Kelly writes:

"I was on the way to work today. The tube was down so I had to take the bus. They said something about a power outage so I had to get out at Waterloo. I got on the number 68 which didn't take me to Camden(where I work) but took me to Euston, which is pretty close. I was about five minutes from Euston when we got stuck in traffic. I decided that, as it was pretty much deadlock, I would get out and walk. The streets were full of people which was pretty normal considering the problems with the tube.

The tube just happened to be down...

15. The bus explosion was about an hour after the underground ones
See timeline at http://edition.cnn.com/2005/WORLD/europe/07/07/london.timeline/

The first reports on the Tube were a 'power surge'. This guy seems to have had to get off the Tube when it was shut down after those explosions.
