Good Morning America just announced that a Islamic terrorist group
Good Morning America just announced that a Islamic terrorist group are taking responsibility and have threatened Italy & Denmark (if I heard correctly) if they don't pull their troops from Iraq as well.

1. I'll take what I hear from GMA with as much heart as I would
the Enquirer's stories of alien babies.

yep- Good morning America has zero credibility
Nor does ANY of the American media, for that matter. I'll wait to hear confirmation from Canadian news or abroad.

2. The sad irony is that Britain just announced it was reducing its troops
Didn't Blair's government just say they were reducing their force count to 2000 troops, down from 5000? This is, of course, really isn't about the troops in Iraq. It's about monsters wanting to spread terror by killing innocent people. And it's about wasting four years while bin Laden ran loose to plan more terror. Even if it wasn't al-Qaeda, the fact is that the example set is that if you attack the west, we won't go after you in a big way.

4. NPR is reporting ...
that the BBC is stating that a European group with ties to Al-Queda is claiming responsibility. Nothing confirmed on that.

6. If I were a terrorist...(God forbid)
I'd claim responsibility for EVERYTHING. I mean, that's the point of terrorism, right? To scare people.

I think you can take the word of a terrorist with a grain of salt.
