The Butterfly Effect
Edited on Thu Jul-07-05 07:49 AM by ThomWV
Do you realize that if some teenage kid so much as set off a single firecracker, left over from a 4th of July picnic, in the DC METRO this morning that the capitalization of stock markets world wide would drop by 10 trillion dollars?

No shit, the world is that much on edge.

Now, tell me who's winning this war on terrorism.

1. Chillingly accurate assessment.
At what point will the right-wing idiots finally wake up and realize * isn't helping?

3. In response to your question:
At what point will the right-wing idiots finally wake up and realize * isn't helping?

My reply is: "Not in this lifetime."

And you're right - that is a chillingly accurate assessment.

2. Define "win"
I mean, our corporate leaders still have jets and eat steaks and have hot tubs full of champagne (which seems gross, but to each their own). Isn't that what's really important?

4. You just nailed
the Republican mentality. They really don't give a rats ass about anything, other than money and a fat cat lifestyle. That's who they are, that's what they're about, that's where they're coming from. The rest of it is smoke and mirrors.

6. I am driving into downtown D.C. today.
Right near the Whitehouse. I will be mindful of my surroundings, but todays events won't deter me, no matter who is responsible. Personally I blame Bush, his failed policies and global corporate greed.

7. It's a shame you don't have an eye in the back of your head.
You're gonna need it. Be careful Jara.
