ONE BIG Question! - Why hasn't the terra level ben raised?
All news agencies report security being stepped up at all transportation systems around the country but they haven't raised the terra level.
Last year all it took was a bee flying too close to someone to jack up the level.
Amazing, when there really is a possibility of an attack, nothing regarding the terra level.
Proof that the terra alerts were all political propaganda used to scare the people.

I'm rather confused on that, anyway.

4. I hate to sound cynical, but two reasons:
1.) There's no election, and
2.) It's not on US soil.

5. It's mainly a political tool
I also noticed that it hadn't changed on ready.gov. I would expect no better response on the terror level than there was on the 9/11 response time.

8. tinfoil hat time
Isn't it always so coincidental that these terroist attacks/alerts/threats always come at a time that benefits Bush and Co. Instead now, of us focusing on the fact that the President's closest advisor may have committed a treasonous act that put America at greater risk of WMD, MSM will be talking about London.

Hmmmm....God must be on their side. What other explaination is there?

14. The standard explanation...
Edited on Thu Jul-07-05 08:22 AM by djohnson
...is that 'terrorists' are trying to get England to withdraw from the coalition. But I agree that this is happening at a very politically opportune time, and Bu$h will take every last advantage of it.

What is most telling about this is that we are in Iraq trying to teach them to fend off 'terrorists' when we can't even protect ourselves, when it comes to England.

12. I think it has, within the government
Where I live, I rarely have large planes fly over (mostly, small planes from Detroit City Airport). I heard something big fly over right before I left for work, but I didn't see what it was. Selfridge ANG base is about 20 minutes away, and I am assuming that they are flying over the city. I hope so-we have a lot going on in Detroit this weekend, All Star Game festivities, for the most part.
