Roves first act in White House

This was Roves first act in the WH, he thought it would make Bush look good if he slandered the outgoing President and smear the good name of the White House.

WASHINGTON -- The General Services Administration has found that the White House vandalism flap earlier this year was a flop.

The agency concluded that departing members of the Clinton administration had not trashed the place during the presidential transition, as unidentified aides to President Bush and other critics had insisted.

Responding to a request from Rep. Bob Barr, a Georgia Republican, who asked for an investigation, the GSA found that nothing out of the ordinary had occurred.

Notice how Tony Snow picked up the story and reported on it as if he had actually seen the damage, the only hang up was that Barr didn't get the Rove memo that this was all a lie to smear Clinton, and demanded a investigation...oooops

2. That's the fascinating thing, and it really speaks volumes about

how the RW operates and fuels their lies and bullshit.

They make the accusations and the press picks it up, reports it as though its true "Bush aids confirm" then the Republicans get to make a big show and demand an investigation.

Of course, once its investigated, it becomes proven that the right wing was full of shit and most of the accusations were lies.

But by then, the story is already out there, and is cited as literal fact on various right wing news sites, blogs, and spam emails.

The burden of proof is left on us to debunk the BS.

Talk to any conservative, they will still insist that the Clintons trashed the White House.
