The way I remember it, millions of Americans came out and protested in a coordinated protest, one of the biggest in American history, in the run-up to the war in Iraq.

No one lied. It all unfolded exactly as progressives warned it would.

The only people who should feel dirty are the terrorists and those who would waste our resources on stealing Iraq when we have a real war going on with evil.

14. I feel guilty. I supported the war in the beginning. I believed the lies.

It wasn't that I believed Bush.

It was because when Colin Powell stood in front of the cameras, I trusted Colin Powell and I believed Colin Powell.

It was when I saw the footage on TV of the art museums being looted that I realized the war is a lie.

The places where WMDs and the places where documents providing evidence of them would have been weren't being guarded. The museums weren't being guarded.

That was when I knew we weren't there because there were WMDs and we weren't there to Win The Hearts and Minds of the Iraqi people.

So, while I went in the streets to protest the stolen election of 2000, I still did nothing to protest the beginning of the war in Iraq.

I believed the lies and I feel stupid, guilty and angry.

We are sad for the karma we helped create. If I were them, I would live in fear every moment of the day. Their own karma will blindside them like a herd of raging bison.

20. I was always against the war but when Blair and Powell spoke

I remember thinking "maybe they know something no one else does and can't tell us." Without further explanation I still didn't support it but it made my resignation easier.

I hate to say it but both Bush and Blair were reelected. I blame myself only in the sense that none of us were able to articulate to the (small) majority why this war was so wrong.
