Another thought: do we even want attention on the Plame case?
Hear me out; this makes sense.

To me, the idea that we want a media frenzy around a grand jury is just odd. Two things happen if this gets balls to wall MSM coverage.

First of all, it becomes a black/white, liberal/conservative issue with people yelling at each other. Has anyone actually won one of these fights.

Secondly, there's a chance nothing could happen to Rove. Then we once again are the doggy chasing the ball off the porch. Except the ball has been palmed again.

Besides, Rove is either in trouble or he isn't. Fitzgerald has been on this case for a long time and is apparently getting closer to the source. The best prosecutions are done in private. If he has something, he will have it regardless of the debate on the O'Reilly Factor.

This is what would be better for us.

Out of nowhere....out of the blue...like a lightning bolt from heaven....we wake up to a banner headline in the Washington Post: "Bush Chief Advisor Indicted on Leak."

The NY Post has a picture of Rove with the headline "Did Rove Take A Leak?"

Good times all around.

1. Won't matter
If Fitzgerald is as good as he seems there will be indictments, regardless of press.

2. Exactly my point
I just hate seeing smart people thinking that the key to an indictment is getting an argument started with Judy Woodruff.

3. Ny Post just showing it's true gutter character....
...Did in the Washington Post actually report "Bush Chief Adviser Indicted on Leak"? In other words, has there been an indictment against KKKarl Rove, formal charge of having committed a serious criminal offense of leaking secret information?

4. Read my actual post
I said, what we want is for the indictment to come out of the blue. We don't want it politicized beforehand.
