What can our leaders say? "This will not stand?"
They likely will, but of course, this will stand. The threat against our nation, and its allies and agents, has a new dynamic that involves disparate, committed individuals who are willing to take their own lives to cause harm. They are all over the world. Most of Bush's military strategy is designed for nations which act against us, not individuals with no permanent base of operations.

And Bush and Blair will likely react with the same indiscriminate military reprisals that have deepened the hatred and resentment of our country, and have resigned citizens of these sovereign nations we have invaded and occupied to forced expressions of their nationalism in defense of basic prerogatives of liberty and self-determination, which our false authority disregards as threats to our consolidation of power.

Does Bush care? No. Mission accomplished. Perpetual war.

1. Nothing bad ever happens to China
I don't know why. Just thought I'd point that out.

Looks like they are on a glide path to being by far the most prosperous nation on the planet. They spend just enough on defense to keep BushCo from attacking and devote all the rest to building up their already rapidly growing economy.

2. China doesn't have clean hands
but they have to be enjoying all of the leadfooted imperialism Bush is toying with, as well as the effect it has of bogging us down with new enemies.

As we fiddle, China remains close to Pakistan, who in turn, is cozy with our nemesis, Iran. Catbird seat.
