can or will stop those who believe they have a just cause against us. We would do well to take all the money pumped into Iraq both military and corporate, and all the money pumped into homeland security since 9/11 and raise the living standard for our working men and women, assist a REAL peace process in the ME, and just go on a live our lives from event to event. If we don't enemies to attack our way of life and the western nation blocks, then we will have to stop making enemies and deal with other people with respect and sincerity. Desert Storm and the Iraqi invasion could have been dealth with by negotiating with our former ally, Saddam and instead of the hubris to treat him as a two-bit dictator (though is was)we could have dealt with him as we dealt with him all through the 70's and 80's--as head of state who could be used to serve our better purposes. But the cowboy mentality and the quest to out shine Bill Clinton has lead us and the rest of the western world to this point of no return to even our pretended sense of moral justice, economic supremacy, and good will. Instead we are now relegated to a future of uneasiness about when the next strike will occur and how we will survive the mountain of wartime and tax reduction debt this administration had set before us.
