3. Israel said they weren't warned
and that the only call they got was after the blast, the same as all the other foreign embassies.

9. Have a link saying the Israeli diplomats were warned to stay away
from New York?

And sites like whatreallyhappened don't count.

7. Netanyahu was warned AFTER the first explosion to stay put.
It's likely that the first story involved a misunderstanding.

Which won't prevent people from seizing on this as "proof" of a conspiracy.

13. Why is it likely there was a misunderstanding?
Because that is what you want to believe?

18. Because the early reports have been corrected.
Early reports in such events are notorious for lacking accuracy--because of the confusion that exists.

19. that is the exact opposite of the other report
it couldn't be a simple misunderstanding.

one report says he was warned after the attack and he stayed put.

the other report says he was warned before the attack and he moved because he was located right above a subway terminal.

how this can be a misunderstanding is beyond me. it's not just about when he was warned. it's also about whether he moved or stayed put.

23. He was en route to the location and then stopped.
The confusion probably came in when people noted that he had been "warned." Some people here that he was warned, and assume that this means he was warned before ANY of the bombs.

12. Israel not 'warned of attacks'

A Foreign Ministry official had said earlier that British police warned the Israeli Embassy in London of possible terror attacks minutes before the first explosion.

"There was no early information about terrorist attacks," Shalom told Israel Army Radio. "After the first explosion an order was given that no one move until things become clear."

20. That's an old and inaccurate report, which has since then been corrected.

<snip>
Israeli Finance Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was on his way to a hotel near the scene of one of the London blasts Thursday when he received a call to stay put, the foreign minister said.

"After the first explosion, our finance minister received a request not to go anywhere," Foreign Minister Silvan Shalom told Israel Army Radio.

How would Scotland Yard know in advance and why would the one's responsible for the attacks warn of them?

conspiracy. This kind of crap needs to be debunked before it gets taken as gospel truth.

22. are you
being sarcastic?

my interpretation is if the story is true, the conspiracy is on the brits, not the israelis. story says the brits called in the warning.

24. The later stories indicate that he was warned after the first bomb went
off.

And the sheer amount of conspiracy-mongering regarding Israel suggests that any tidbit will be spun as proof of a conspiracy. Any time there's any kind of terrorist act, one can be sure that the loons will start suggesting that the Mossad did it.

25. Stories are usually confused at first
If you accept the first stories, then there was a power surge in the Underground, which caused an explosion. Then you'd believe there were bombs on 3 buses. And so on. There's not much point in putting continued trust in a story that describes itself as 'unconfirmed' when it is later said to be a misunderstanding.

On edit, I meant to add that Israel has the best security system in place to deal with terrorists.

I was in London last month and everyone, I mean everyone, seems to be on alert or ever vigilant against this sort of thing. Years of IRA terrorism has made the Brits keenly aware of what waits in the wings to disrupt, maim and kill.

Apparently in the confusion after the blast, the original AP
story was not correct. It has since been corrected, and it
looks as if the Israeli embassy was not notified until after
the attacks began. Here is a link to the updated story:
