some kansas(?) corporation has apparently come out and said that tom delay would not talk to them until they had donated $25m to trimpac.
anyone listening to that?

DeLay's defense: the contribution didn't influence what he did. In effect, they accepted the bribe but didn't deliver the goods. But in fact, they DID deliver the goods: DeLay put the exact wording that Westar wanted into energy legislation.
I'm sure glad I don't live in Kansas anymore, having moved to the uncorruptable state of Texas. ;-)
