They are NOT mutually exclusive.

If I express anger at bush in light of terrorist attacks, it does not mean I don't think the terrorists aren't a bunch of fucking bastards.

If I express that I think the terrorists are a bunch of fucking bastards, it doesn't mean I don't think bush and his ilk are a bunch of fucking bastards, too. I do.

I can feel the same thing for BOTH parties.

After all, bush caused this:

and this

and more.

And the terrorists caused this:

and more.

It's all violence. It's all unnecessary death and killing.

Yet all bush can talk about this morning is how we will "win." Which means MORE violence, more death, more killing.

I hate 'em both. I think they are BOTH fucked in the heads. Put that in your pipe and smoke it, reich wingers.

While I'm at it, another thing that seems to blow reich-wingers minds away: Iraqis can be HAPPY that Saddam Hussein is out of power AND UNHAPPY at being attacked and invaded by the US AT THE SAME TIME. Those two feelings aren't mutually exclusive either.

8. Then maybe they SHOULD be smoking?
But around here, if you want to find pot, you mostly have to find a repuke first.

We started an illegal war and he had the audacity to call it a crusade. If anything, they took advantage of old hatreds to advance PNAC. And they'll do the same with the horror of today. Digging us deeper and deeper. Today the people of London are their pawns. It sickens me.

10. I agree.
Something that I have noticed that is hard for people on both sides of the partisan divide to comprehend is that just because someone is the enemy of evil doesn't mean that they are the friend of good. There are a lot of assholes in the world (excuse my french) and when two of them are on opposite sides it doesn't change either one of them from an asshole into a nice guy.

I personally despise the Muslim extremists and the Christian extremists pretty much equally. I think they are both destroying our world in different ways. And I hate Saddam Hussein and I'm glad he's locked up and my only regret is that he isn't sharing his cell with the idiot boy king.

I wish that us "little guys" out there could all band together and round up all the corrupt leaders and the fundie nutjobs and the terrorists and the corporate thieves and all the power-mongering evildoers and world-wreckers of every persuasion and throw them all into the damn ocean. I am so, so, SO sick of all these people I could scream.

17. People w/ depth & consideration are capable of many simultaneous feelings
Precisely why Dumbya and his apologists/cheerleaders are incapable of even understanding such a concept let alone experiencing it themselves.

I'm with you.

18. Doesn't that WTC pic capture a 'kick out' detonation...
in the lower right hand side, just below the mass of falling debris..doesn't that look like a demolition explosion?

19. Exactly.
Right on!

Its one thing that the right wing seems to love holding against us.

They like to assume that if we criticize Bush, then we support the terrorists.
