There is no "central front in the War on terrorism". Tell that to New York, London, Bali, Madrid, Beirut, Israel, Baghdad, Mosul, and any other country or city touched by those with an ideology that allows for the killing of the innocent.

This is not a time for us to be quiet. Too many people are dead, and we know why.

The Bush Doctrine is a miserable failure, as we predicted, and we must work globally, diplomatically, and with great conviction to stop not only terror, but the promotion thereof by arrogance, revenge, and profit.

The "War on Terror" is a SCAM, and is the exact wrong way to go. You cannot fight terrorism with war, it is like fighting a fire with gasoline.
War is the beloved mother of terrorism, and makes it thrive. A terrorist army is not a finite thing that you can eliminate. Anyone can become a terrorist at anytime if they so choose. And nothing motivates people to give their lives to the cause more than war...

As some very smart person said before me here on DU, terrorism is the war of the poor and war is the terrorism of the rich.

I cannot stand to hear Smirk and his Poodle talk about "they hate our kind and gently way of life, and they kill innocent people". It is a strong case of the pot calling the kettle...

Don't be pulled in by grief or fear. There is NO War on Terror.

We have gone so far now into the wrong track, I'm afraid that we can only reverse the damage by getting GWB and Co out of the White House and Blair out of 10 Downing, and then take some sensible actions such as total pullout of Iraq, and reframing of attack perpetrators on an International Law Enforcement footing, resigning the ICC, and changing the stupid idea that war can fix things.
Just think about it: they keep talking of bringing the terrorists to Justice. When was the last time someone was brought to Justice by these people???
