I woke up last nite at around 3:00 a.m. from a horrible nightmare.

Or at least **I THINK** I woke up. I dreamt some people were out to kill me and no matter where I turned, the killers were devising some new tactic to get me. There was no escape. I tried every clever trick in the book. I awoke in a dripping sweat.

Then, as I lay there wondering if I was becoming paranoid, it occurred to me: The whole fiasco with this administration is tantamount to a well-written spy novel/mystery/disaster movie. At every turn, there's a well-crafted deception. And just when you think you got it figured out... WHAM! They hit you with the least expected plot device. Good guys are really bad. Bad guys are really good. And you're not sure who is who. Every avenue of escape is blocked. The stakes keep getting bigger and bigger. Explosions everywhere. Blood splattered on the streets... people dying everywhere. Arms, legs, and fingers strewn across the landscape. Ensuing Panic. Chaos. Pure horror. Custer's last stand... Desperately waiting for the calvary that never comes. Then the sad reality hits me right across my chin. This is no dream. But wait, this CAN'T be really happening?! How did we ever let it get this far?
