AAR just said that they found some unexploded bombs...
in London. At least that's what I think he said. This is good, not only because they didn't go off, but because they can learn a lot about who constructed them.

1. If they are hauled off and just blown up without forensic investigation
you will know who planted them

2. I haven't heard anything like that on British news
and I'd be surprised if AAR can get that without it being broadcast here.

9. Found this in Bus. World/Ireland:
'...An explosion ripped a bus apart near Tavistock Place. Eyewitnesses said that the HQ of the nearby British Medical Association had been splattered with blood.

There are also reports of a suspect package at Stockwell Station and an unexploded bomb at Baker Street.'

15. Yes
I was watching BBC America and that is what they were saying but they do believe that maybe some of the bombers inadvertently blew themselves up as well. They also suspect that the terrorist that did this were home grown terrorist not foreign.

27. There's no shortage of local people who would like to see...
Sharia law in England. Whether those people would bomb for that goal is a separate question.

16. Reminds me of the WWII stories.
The tag, UXB, is a horrible memory for many Londoners who lived through the hell that was the Blitz, fighting alone against a far superior force. They had to suffer with unexploded bombs littering the city. Special teams of experts, officers all of them, worked to defuse these munitions in place by hand. Many of them died.

So the finding of UXBs today probably reminds those who witnessed similar events.

I feel for Londoners. This was such a waste of life. I hope that they also do not have pay with their freedoms.

20. now my bs meter is going off
I've been to London many times & it's pounded into your head not to leave your bags or possessions alone. Anything left around unattended is immediately reported & taken away. I know because I had to fight to get my suitcase back when I set it outside a hotel gift shop so I could go inside & buy a paper. They don't even have trashcans on the street because they could be used to place bombs. So if they've found unexploded bombs that somehow miraculously a city of people trained to report unattended packages & items didn't report to authorities, I'd say it wasn't al qaeda that planted them....

25. i'm still in shock at this point
two of the bombs took place in areas I was recently at with my cousin, King's Cross & Russell Square. We used those stations a lot, since we stayed in those areas.

as for any tin-foil hat ideas, i'll hold off on that until the authorities have a chance to investigate, but for now, i'll say it's highly suspicious.

" U.S. authorities tell ABC News that British police have recovered two unexploded bombs from the scene of the terror attacks in London.

In addition, British investigators say that parts of timing devices have been recovered from the blast scene that would have been used to detonate an explosive device. This could provide evidence that would help determine who was behind the attacks, sources told ABC News."
