Ignore the Chicken Hawk Bullies on Faux and other Cables!
The one's who want to whip up Terrorism to help Bush's poll numbers and their own ratings.

Remember that these are the folks who don't sent their sons and daughters to fight in Bush's endless wars. These are the folks who have tied their fortunes to Bush and BFEE's endless wars and they are terrified that we "the people" will one day wake up and turn on them. They are fighting for their lives and bank accounts and they will stoop to anything to hold onto their slipping grasp of power.

Listen to the BBC online. Read the Guardian or any Brit newspaper online. Why bother with the crap spin from those cowards one more time...whatever they are reporting now, will change within a few days.
Whatever they say is just to whip us up into a frenzy.

It's not worth it...

1. I've given them a pass all day....
and am not about to listen to their trash talking now. I learned my lesson long ago; if you want to get to the bottom of things, the WWW is the only way to go. Of course there's a lot of trash there as well, but it's up to the individual to sort it out and not be forced-fed, like watching the MSM.

4. Okay. Got a Cosby re-run on right now.
I sent CNN a "Dear John" letter a year ago and never looked back.

Thanks much for her quote. Some of us need quotes to sustain us when we get really down. She's a great gal..lovely lady...and thank you for posting this from her quote from Ghandi:

"...that all through history the way of truth and love has always won. There have been tyrants and murderers and for a time they seem invincible but in the end, they always fall - think of it, always." --Mahatma Gandhi :toast:

6. That's because they know that shrub is a miserable failure...
...and are trying to reinforce the opposite to their base so the cognitive dissonance doesn't make their collective heads explode.

He has totally and completely failed at the one thing he was supposed to be good at--fighting terrorism. They can't spin it any way, and make it look like he is not the miserable cringing little coward that he really is.

Does anyone have a smart president we could borrow?

9. I haven't listened to my local NPR in a couple of years but TODAY...they
were great. I wondered if they were doing a "strike back" knowing they are "going down" under Bush.

Whatever, they fairly reported all sides of the issues with London Bombings and didn't seem to have on the "usual offensive PNAC'ers" and they mixed it up with some interesting cultural pieces like the Ed MCBain who was author of a TV Series who also wrote under the pseudonym of Evan Hunter who was the original author of "BlackBoard Jungle" the novel that "rocked the 50's."

So, being away from DU to go to NPR today...was good for ME...at this point...for my one day in time. :-)'s

11. Funny you should mention NPR...
I thought, being in Arkansas, I would be stuck with the Clear Channel radio talk crap. But I was coasting through the stations last week and discovered our NPR station. What a breath of fresh air!

13. don't forget their hypocrisy either
Faux News' Brian Kilmeade thumping his chest and talking about how dare the G8 discuss those starving folks in Africa and the nightmarish global warming looming disaster in favor of 24/7 terra. This while for the past five weeks, Faux has become the Natalee Holloway Channel - completely ignoring any terror threats, especially pointing out any weaknesses domestically which make us less safe from terror, because it would imply a negative stance on their beloved dictator Bush.
