I've been watching CNN show British interviews |
|
Many references to the British resolve not to be intimidated and to carry on with their lives. Even the CNN anchors were giving the Brits credit for their calm resolve and ability to weather such tragedies as this and the WWII blitz.
I just wonder if the CNN and other MSM newsfolks who gush over the British stiff upper lips will then encourage the same from their fellow USA citizens? I fear that such self-awareness and scrutiny will be lacking for the most part.

1. I dunno. I heard Ed Schultz today and thought he was falling apart. Like |
|
fear had taken over again. They know us too well here.

like he was "falling apart"?
What kind of reaction is that?
I've been pissed all day. I found out about the attacks just before I went to work and was in a really bad mood just thinking about all the people who were affected by these bombings. And how we had predicted that bush, blair and their enablers would spawn terrorists in the Middle East like nothing else had ever been spawned before.
But did they listen to us..the "fringe group"? NO!

14. The violent terroist attacks in Iraq are dismissed. We brought |
|
terrorism and violence to the those poor people. They deal with it daily. I didn't hear anyone acknowledge that except here and on AAR.

Nothing new here folks. The Israeli's have been enduring this for years!!! The Brit's have been paving the way for this action for many a year, just like the so called United States. Thank you Mr. Bu$h*t!

4. Paula Zahn asked, "How can we ever possibly feel safe again?" |
|
She said it at least twice! :puke: Stay tuned to find out!

9. I say let her go on and on! Bush can't keep us safe should be the |
|
conclusion the listener draws. They have been saying that he can and will, and have been touting the fact that we haven't had a major attack against the US mainland since 9-01. It's just a matter of time and Bush is making it worse, not better.
On the other hand, I understand what you mean about the big grinning models on tv trying to tell us how to feel as they spout some Bushco rhetoric.

11. So many telejournalists are just pretty faces... |
|
with Kleenex for brains. I get my news from NPR, Jim Lehrer, and the Internet...Salon mostly. I've given up on CNN and MSNBC. Cable news generally is moronic.

12. I don't watch much of anything other than what you just listed. |
|
The other information is too unreliable and bad-news-for Bush is soft-peddled or omitted entirely.

10. I was watching CNN and BBC America. |
|
Both "networks" seemed to trumpet the same tune: "We won't allow 'them' to disrupt our lives. They (the terrorists) hate secular government, they hate our freedoms, etc. etc."
No, they hate us because we're in Iraq and the Middle East occupying and destroying their country and region for oil!

13. That sums it up in a nutshell. |

"No, they hate us because we're in Iraq and the Middle East occupying and destroying their country and region for oil!"
Now, how can "Hating Us For Our Freedom" top that?
