1. And all the talking heads exploded.
Both major parties, and most liberals. I do remember that well. What a torrent of outrage occurred when he said that. He was giving a major speech that day, and he stopped, and inserted that sentence.

And we still are no safer. And he is still right.

They are basically saying the very same thing now. Why in fact, I do believe I just heard a few of the talking heads bitching because we aren't safe. Imagine that!
