9. She said he was rude and acted inappropriate for the occasion.
The asshole walked into the room and didn't even know WHO he was there to "honor" and asked, "OK, who is it we're here to honor today?" Then he was jovial and joking...completely inappropriate. She said it was like he didn't know how to act if he didn't have a script in front of him. He was a fish out of water.

Cindy said she took Casey's pictures with her because she didn't want her son to be just another number to Bush. She wanted him to see the boy he killed and the idiot REFUSED to look at Casey's pictures. Then he said to the family that he was sorry for their loss and Cindy's daughter said to him, "So are we, we wish he was still alive." and Cindy said her daughter told her that Bush gave her the dirtiest look she's ever seen and then said, "Well, I'm sure you do wish he was alive."

The man is a sociopath. No doubt about it.

10. Wow
How amazing. I knew he was a bastard but to read this is just wow. It reminds me of an interview BradBlog did sometime earlier this year with a guy who was hurt and got a visit from Bush. According to the guy Bush was very rude to him and called him by his nickname (only friends call him) and didn't recognize his rank or anything (Sgt I believe) and the guy wanted to show Bush his wound and he wouldn't look and he got healed by leeches and Bush wouldn't look at that either. He just went "ew" and then shortly after Bush entered and that happened a photographer came by and snapped a picture and Bush was acting all happy and stuff. The guy didn't sound too happy about the meeting. I wish I could remember when that was. Maybe someone here can find out and see if BradBlog can post the mp3.

16. Are you listening now?
She just said Bush was giving her a list of family members she "COULD HAVE" lost...an aunt, an uncle, a mother, a father...and Cindy interupted him and said "No, you don't understand. This was my SON. Surely you can understand what that's like? You have 2 daughters. How would you feel if you lost one of them?" She said he got a GLIMMER of compassion in his eyes and then she said, "I don't think you want to go there with me." and he said, "You're right, I don't want to go there."

The man is NUTS!

11. Isn't Bush's greatest asset supposed to be his charisma?
You know, "To meet him is to love him."

Best I can figure is the Repugs in 2000 fed the traveling press better than the Dems.

I just heard her mention something else about the meeting. She asked him how he'd feel if his two daughters were sent to Iraq.

She added, "You don't want to go there."

"You're right. I don't." is his reply.

The Christians just adore him, though. :eyes:

(I'm a Christian, too. I just don't wear it on my sleeve.)

24. Bush, and the real powers behind him, have nothing but contempt
for us. Unless we're fawning over them, slaving to make them wealthier, or serving them in some other fashion, they want nothing to do with us.

The lesson of her tragedy is this....

Don't let your kids be cannon fodder for Bush's insane foreign policy. He just doesn't care a tinkers damn about your loved ones.

for all the idjuts who think a rich guy from Connecticut is really just a regular ol' Texas nobody like them.

How stupid can the sheeple be? They think he cares about them! Mrs. Sheehan's story ought to teach them otherwise. * cares about no one but himself.

:kick:
