London Bombing vs Madrid Bombing/Connecting the dots |

LONDON, July 7 - Investigators searching for clues in the attacks here said Thursday that the three bombs used in the subway apparently were detonated by timers, not suicide bombers, and that a fourth device may have been intended for a target other than the city bus that it destroyed. http://www.nytimes.com/2005/07/08/international/europe/08intel.html?hp&ex=1120881600&en=dbca40ec2e37ba6c&ei=5094&partner=homepage

2. If I had to bet, I'd say the fourth bomb was meant for the underground, |

but the bomber was late and no trains were running (or he chickened out).
They said the bus that was bombed was one of the busses taking subway passengers away from Kings Cross station after the trains stopped. The bomber probably saw the buses and saw his opportunity.
I bet there are security cameras that catch that bomber, since he probably had to improvise on the fly, and he probably exposed himself in the course of doing that.
