After the London bombing, I wondered if the whole world is going to be |
|
turned into an Israel, with no respite from attacks that can spring up any moment, anywhere? What have Bush and Blair wrought?
Remember that the entire Muslim world has now been turned into our enemies and they seem to be more willing to die in their cause than we seem willing or able to kill them.
Why not try the age old prescription of seeking peace with justice.May be we can't get everything that we want but that is far better than the bloody loss in London or Baghdad.

1. Peace and justice require truth seeking and listening as opposed |
|
to propaganda and invasions. This is beyond neo-con comprehension.

5. You mean people might have to actually talk to each other? |

What a concept.
Don't worry, our fearless leader will make sure that never happens.

2. Well, if we attempt to brutally occupy other's land |
|
then I guess we will be just like Israel.

The neocons took the Israeli/Palestine issue and made America/Iraq a bigger version of that, despite the fact that Iraq was not a threat to America and is an ocean and more away.

3. It is interesting that you already |
|
seem to know for sure who actually pulled this off.
I guess Rove is right. Perception is reality. He controls your perceptions through his control of the media, so your reality is whatever he says it is.
If Spain had had enough people like you, Jose Maria Aznar would still be in office and Spanish soldiers would still be mired in the Land of the Two Rivers.

4. Even if I am completely wrong about this, if it becomes the incentive |
|
to make peace with the Muslim world, it would be well worth it IMO.

8. I reread your OP and it was unfair |
|
of me to categorize you as someone who would have voted for Aznar.
It just bothers me that so many people STILL immediately assume, after having been lied to by their governments (who have been proven to be behind much of the terror as part of a "dialectic" process) so many times over the decades, that whatever bogeyman of the hour is said to be the culprit actually is the culprit, without any proof or truly independent investigation of the facts even being necessary.

Fortunately the Brits, who have more experience in this area then we do, aren't freaking out and will handle this has a criminal matter, rather then an act of war.
