How did they delay his care? I'm new to this whole episode, but from what I've read and heard I thought they did this:

1) Began spreading rumors on FR and CU.

2) Started Scamdy.com to help fuel the rumors.

3) Submitted a letter to the FBI.

Did they do more than this? Because I don't understand how any of these actions actually delayed his care. I thought his DU fundraiser went well, that he received the operation, and then turned to Medicaid to cover the rest of his medical expenses.

I'm not denying that their actions were and are utterly reprehensible and possibly libelous, but what did they actually do to physically delay care?

They stopped paypal from letting the money we donating out so that Andy could have his surgery as planned. It got delayed (I think by about 2 weeks but it may have been 3 weeks) because paypal had frozen the account.

In pancreatic cancer, days, even minutes, count because it is such a deadly, usually fast spreading cancer.

Can we prove that they had a hand in his death? Probably not. But what they did certainly didn't help.

How in the world can someone or someones hate what we did and hate Andy so much that they try to keep the money we raised for his surgery away from Johns Hopkins? I do not understand what motivates these people, I truly don't.

Tomorrow, I may be as angry as some are here today. Today, I am shocked and grieving the loss of a good man, a true patriot.

I have many friends who are conservatives and while we argue vehemently over politics they would be on the next plane to the Bay Area to help me if my house was destroyed in an earthquake or brushfire.
