11. I believe you think it's about democracy
But I think what's actually being sold is cynicism, very crudely wrapped in the flag.

And I also think that cynicism works against democracy, as evidenced in the last post in this thread below:

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=104&topic_id=405812#405911

If something isn't done about the damned voting machines, what would our chances of making a difference be, if all dems just refused to vote in the next election. Do you think, if we could get enough voters to make a difference by "not voting" that it would wake up the people in this country?

Great work BBVers! Good luck spreading this attitude all over the country! Just what we need, people not voting!

20. Nice try but...
...I've registered twenty-six new Democratic voters and six new precinct committee people in the last two months using this issue. It gets people off their butts. You choose one post (from thousands on the subject) from one person who makes one comment and try to pass it off as the full end result of Bev's work? Shame on you, Cocoa. You should know better than that by now. You just ain't gonna be able to get away with that stuff around here.

As to your "crudely wrapped in the flag" comment, I'd like to know something about your credentials, other than once being a postal worker apparently, to make such judgements about matters of patriotism. I gave you mine a while back, if you recall.

Puh-LEEZ stay away from anything removely David Dill sounding, okay?

I'm begging you. (Never mind. You've got more sense than that. Forget I said anything.)

I'll add one too: Whackamole, or whackavote, or whacka - never mind, I'll end up getting this post deleted if I mentioned someone's name here.

21. haccuvote.com
It's 8:00pm and the polls are closed. Do YOU know where your ballot is?
(I think that phrase was suggested by someone else)

Alternately, try haccuvoteTS.com (totals suspect)
or haccuvoteOS.com (opponents subtracted)
or even haccuvoteX.com (the great unknown)
or haccuvoteCC.com (cost/count creep)
or haccuvote-16000.com (the super improved model)
