What wine goes best with terror?
I accidentally caught about 2 minutes of the Today show a bit after 9 a.m., and there was Katie C., interviewing some woman about how to avoid getting too stressed by terror alerts. They talked about this and that, and the woman said something about not drinking too much as a way to relax. "What about one glass of wine?" asked Katie.

I swear, this is what we've come to. The Korprit Meeja (corporate media)is reduced to talking about how much wine it's okay to drink during a terror alert, while our government is blowing up and torturing people in Iraq. I just wanna hurl!

4. Maybe we can incorporate the various colors and shades
of different wines into a new Color Alert System. That way we'll know immediately what to drink without having to consult the Today Show first!

10. Real journalism isn't allowed anymore
All the media outlets are hiring their "journalists" from Barbizon or the Ford Agency-god forbid any of them know anything about investigation, or even what constitutes a pertinent question. Much easier to hire models and tell them to smile at the camera, and have them ask the interviewees what kind of clothes they like, instead of something substantial, like WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON...

12. If more people smoked cannabis and quit drinking
the reduction in violence around the world would finance feeding all the hungry, as funds used to investigate, try, and incarcerate violent people would be freed up

So, I'll skip the rotten grapes and go with a phat joint instead.
