Herding Cats - You know what they say about us - Now see the video
Paineinthearse reminded me of this saying and that reminded me of this video. Which reminds me that we need to stay focused on the BIG ISSUES folks.

VOTER VERIFIED PAPER BALLOTS

6. I hate that I'm never surprised to hear that.
My husband worked for an IT company for 17 years. The company was bought by foreign investors - and their first official action was to lay off all US employees. It took him 2 years to find another job - similar job for less pay - and he never feels safe. These were supposed to be our winding down to retirement years. And they were stolen right out from under us by corporate greed.

28 years is a lot longer and probably hurt that much more.

When will the pendulum start swinging back to unions - or SOMETHING!?

7. I haven't found another job
Edited on Fri Jul-08-05 01:07 PM by notadmblnd
haven't looked really. My husband passed away about a year before I was let go, so my son and I qualify for Social Security Survivors Benefits. I have 4 years to decide what I want to do with my life. If worst comes to worst.. I'll sell the house, downsize and live off my husbands pension till I'm old enough to receive mine. Can you believe it? 28 years with a company and still not old enough to retire and receive my pension.

8. Good plan. Now let's pray they still let us have the pensions
when we're finally old enough. I'm waiting to get mine too.

All best.

5. Only a techie
would mis-spell techie.

Just a gentle chiding since there's a lot of attention on spelling around here....

LOL!

4. I havent seen that in a while
They did that using about 5 cats and computer replications. Aparently, the hardest part was getting the cats to cross water.

Great commercial.
