Shrub: Better then Hitler, worse then Manson?
Edited on Fri Jul-08-05 01:09 PM by booley
I am sure you guys have noticed this.... everytime the anti-war people bring up torture and abuses and deaths of innocent people, the freepers play the "not as bad" game?

Hitler killed more pople then Shrub.
Pol Pot killed more then Shrub.
Stalin killed more peopel then Shrub...
and of course, Saddam Hussain killed more people then Shrub...

(admittedly , those guys had more time to work on it too...but nevertheless.)

But then it occurred to me, using CON "logic", doesn't that mean that Shrub is far far worse then ..

Jeffrey Dahmer
Ted Bundy
John Wayne Gacy
Lizzy Bordan
Charles Manson
Jack the Ripper

and even Osama Bin ladin?

In all those cases, Shrub is responsable for far more death and destruction then the serial killers and terrorists above.

Just something to think about time a con tries to snow you with the spin that it's ok to kill and torture people becuase Saddam killed more...

Funny how Tomm Tommorow can always encapsule Con idiocy in cartoon form...

Edited due to my atroccou..atrocio..bad spelling...

2. I haven't heard that argument from a freep, but...

if I did I think the "well he's obviously worse than Osama Bin Ladin" would be a logical respose.

3. Actually, I believe that it is unfair. . .
to compare him with previous war criminals, until that point has been reached, though he iskinda going the way of Stalin. Yet, I would say this: I see a reflection between him and Bin Laden. Almost mirror images cast about. Both use relgious doctrine to justify their crimes. With Bush, the poor go to fight in his wars and come home dead, scarred, or emotionally stunted. With Bin Laden, they come home martyrs in the jihad. Either way, it's just my honest opinion. And, if the glove fits, I guess you must convict.

4. He "fell off his bicycle" again the other day. I'm thinking he's not in..
charge. Maybe being drugged, beaten up, conditioned, brainwashed, fed with delusions? Dunno. Something's not right.
