Reporter to Bush: "Do you feel responsible for this?"
Am I hearing things? MSNBC just showed * signing the "book of condolence" and as he was walking away after signing - I SWEAR a reporter asked him "Do you feel responsible for this?"

The brat shot a nasty look at the questioner. Anybody else catch this?

6. A fly on the wall
What was it like when the G-8 reconvened after Blair left Thursday? What did the other leaders say to George behind closed doors when his protector/interpretor/poodle left? What did Putin or Chirac have to say to him?

15. well
I don't know about Putin , but a few weeks ago a story ran in a Luxembourg paper which ran some of the jokes Shroeder and Chiraq tell each other about Bush when they have their dinners to decide the faith of Europe .And they seem to be great at cracking wise .Off course they didn't know one of the servants was a reporter , so i'ld figure they wouldn't go that far in his face .

7. I do not think he is responsible, but he is not helping matters.
Edited on Fri Jul-08-05 04:35 PM by wake.up.america
By the way, my heart goes out to anyone who is an innocent victim of violence and that includes every single innocent victim in Iraq and around the world.

How about more news about the little Iraqi kids whose legs, hands, arms have been blown off.

Bush is truly evil - no less evil than Osama. George can wrap a flag around himself, but it does not convince me.

And sadly enough, his ratings will soar as he will use London as justification in Iraq.

18. The WTC was hit twice before Iraq.
Iraq is the most obvious excuse for terrorism, now, but it's not the only. Don't forget Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Iran... There are a lot of reasons terrorists can come up with to justify their deeds.

Now, do I think London would have happened without Iraq? Probably, maybe, possibly not. Who knows? Is it Bush's fault? Probably, maybe, possibly. But, more than Bush, it's the terrorist's fault.

19. IF * had fought bin Laden and al Quaeda all out instead of...
pulling the specialists out of Afghanistan to attack Iraq, al Quaeda would have been defeated and Sadaam would still be ruling Iraq. Sadaam could be bartered with and was harmless to anyone not in Iraq.

I don't believe the terrorists can be defeated as a conventional army can. Crippled, dismantled - yes. But, it only takes a guy, or girl, and a bomb to make a terrorist. I don't think they need an al Qaeda club card. I think a lot of these guys are claiming al Qaeda affiliation because they know al Qaeda is our biggest fear. We don't even know who did the London bombing, yet. Remember Timothy McVeigh.

Being in Iraq has certainly upped the number of terrorists in the world, no matter their affiliation and I can see the logic behind blaming Bush for the bombing in London. We just can't forget the terrorists, whoever they are, are the ones who planned and executed the attack and there is no justification for killing innocents - ever.

9. It was when Coast to Coast cut away
...after Fund and Hitchins had a melt down. They cut to * signing the book and as he was leaving - the question was asked. I sprayed my drink all over my TV. Unbelievable. I was just hoping somebody else heard it.

11. Of course he is responsible
Edited on Fri Jul-08-05 04:44 PM by notmypresident
By continuing a course of foreign policy rooted in imperialism he has fueled the fires of hatred for this country in a way no other president has even come close to.

EDIT:

Realised I would be called out since this country wasn't attacked yesterday. So, to extend my comments;

And by hoodwinking the leaders of countries like Great Britain he has dragged them into his modern day crusades and left them open to the attack.

13. It's a question that one could ask....
"not helping matters" is the same as causing it, at some level.

One could also ask him if the billion bux going to this weeks Iraq occupation could be better spent in homeland security...

I know I do. The idiot inspired countless people to acts of terrorism with his illegal invasion/occupation.

17. Through the magic of teevo, and the good luck of being on msnbc
I listened to the question. It was quite muffled, but it sounded like the reporter said "Mr. Ambassador, do you know who is responsible for this?" Again, it was very muffled and I listened to it a few times, but my best guess is what I wrote above.

It's okay, though, *we* know that bush has quite a bit of blood on his hands, and his policies ensure that the blood will continue to flow as thick as the oil that is being pumped out of Iraq. :(
