A Person From My Little Town In Wisconsin Was In NYC On 9-11 And In London
Edited on Fri Jul-08-05 06:05 PM by Dinger
yesterday when the attacks hit. He is a friend of mine and a good Dem. Folks, he will be around, you will be hearing from him. He has political aspirations, he is young, his family has a history of helping the underprivelaged, and other needy people in the community. They are all strong liberal activists, are well-off, and I just can't say enough about them. I am from Eland, Wisconsin, and I am very proud to call Clay and his family my friends. I think he might run for U.S. Senator some day.

3. Glad to hear he is safe, also. The wife of a guy I work with lost
a niece in the Bali night club bombing. You just never know when you will be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Glad your friend is ok.

2. I used to have a Congressman from Wisconsin as my landlord.
When I lived in DC, a friend of mine and I rented an apartment from Steve Gunderson. It was a basement apartment. Steve and his "friend" lived in the house above us.

Anyone familiar with DC -- our house was right next to the Eastern Market metro stop on South Carolina Ave.

4. My sister-in-law
Missed both 911 and 7/7 because of her habit of going in to the office early.
