What was the name of the reporter/editor who "fell" out of a building?
It was at least a couple of years back. I'm looking for a link to an article that will give pertinent details.

Thanks.

8. Is that the one you want? The one Stephanie and I are talking about
was earlier. I'm sure he was a financial writer/reporter.

10. I was thinking of the NYT's one, but there seems to be a rash
of these "jumpers."

2. I don't remember his name, but I do remember that he was a
financial reporter, and I believe he was doing Enron research/reporting. Also "fell" from the NYT building, didn't he?? Without shoes, or soemthing bizarre like that.

Hopefully someone will come along with the info.

3. It was the NY Times building - he was a NYT reporter
I forget his beat - there was something odd about it too - no shoes?

7. Sure, yeah
In Times Square (duh!) - I forget what street - 43rd, maybe? It's an old stone building - maybe from the 30's? They are building a new high-rise around the corner - finally going to move into a modern building.

9. Hmm...I guess it is believable that Judith may be afraid to
testify.

12. Sure she wasn't the one who helped him "jump"?
Given what she's done I don't trust her. Not for two seconds. I've heard conjecture that she might be a CIA plant. So I'm not really joking about the suicide assistance.

14. I have been beating this one around all day too.
I can believe that she's a plant AND that now that the heat is on her, she's afraid of what can happen. We shall see what happens.

NEW YORK (AP) A business editor at The New York Times fell to his death from the 11th floor of the newspaper's Times Square office building Thursday in what police said was a possible suicide.

Allen Myerson, 47, fell from the West 43rd Street building and landed on the roof of a garage.

Newspaper spokeswoman Catherine Mathis confirmed the death and said Myerson had worked at the Times since 1989. His title was assistant business editor/weekends.

<snip>

Myerson wrote frequently on energy issues. In January, he edited "The New Rules of Personal Investing," a compilation of essays offering tips from top business writers at the newspaper.
