"Leading" poll of the day @ CNN. Q: Best way to fight terrorism ?
The choices are:

a) Promote Democracy

b) Military Action

c) Tighter Security

Hummm....is it me or should there be:

D) A change in US foreign policy

Silly me... but that old adage about catching more flies with honey than vinegar seems to ring true in this case. Perhaps if we would quit pissing these folks off with our draconian policies there would be a real chance for abating the rising tide of global anti-us terrorism.

After all... it was fundamentalists objection to our bases in Saudi Arabia that kicked this whole cluster fuck off.....

3. Hmmm I would go over and vote "Promote Democracy"
Edited on Fri Jul-08-05 10:25 PM by Gay Green
if I had any confidence at all the Shrub would ACTUALLY promote democracy instead of corporate fascist hypocracy.

(New word for the dictionary: hypocracy, meaning arbitrary rule by a certain group of individuals but with the trappings of a democracy or representative republic left in place, for show.)

(on edit: repeated word)
