Operation Spear, Dagger and Sword...what comes next?
Operation Scimitar!

rummy must've got himself a thesaurus.

http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/ap/20050709/ap_on_re_mi_ea/iraq_operation_scimitar

BAGHDAD, Iraq - About 600 U.S. Marines and Iraqi soldiers launched a fourth counterinsurgency operation in less than a month in a volatile western province in Iraq, this time near Fallujah, the military said Saturday.

The counterinsurgency offensive, called Operation Scimitar, started Thursday with targeted raids in Zaidan, 19 miles southeast of Fallujah. Two days later, 22 suspected insurgents had been detained.

1. Operation Shiv
Oh wait, no, Operation Shiv was their economic stimulus plan... No, wait that was Operation Wooden Nickle... What the heck was Operation Shiv?

Oh yeah! Operation Shiv - that was the plan to send the soldiers with no body armor and unarmored Humvees! They gave our forces some Vienna sausage cans and told them to get crackin' on the homemade knives... (sigh) How do these people sleep at night?

6. They've already started that one!
It's just here at home!

Intelligent Design instead of scientific theory, Bush invokes God's name everytime he opens his freakin' mouth, social funding via Christian organizations instead of govt agencies, using churches as political rallying points...

14. Ever read about when countries fail?
It is like the rulers always miss what is really going on. Read about the Russia of the Czar's time. They were all educated people but in a odd way.Queen Victoria was the same. It is like it is a class thing and these so called leaders just miss it and what is going on. It is also like the people know it so some jump on their wagon and let the people running things drive them right in to the ruts where the rest sort of pull them selfs from that mud and move on in a new way. Even in our early days people were Royalist and many packed up and went back to England. How can 5 percent of the world really feel it can run the world and people will go along with it? They do think that way. I love being an American but I sure do not think we can run the world. We need to wake up on this. I think any how.

5. suggestion: operation trebuchet
these people really are living in a different time then the rest of us.

"If we let our vision of the world go forth, and we embrace it entirely, and we don't try to piece together clever diplomacy but just wage total war, our children will sing great songs about us years from now." - Richard Perle

Regardless of the rest of that quote - i mean, "children will sing great songs"? When was the last time anyone -let alone children- sang about supposed heroes? Must be many centuries ago. That was a time when elites ruled unhindered by democracy, and apparently certain elements in todays' society are longing for that time.

8. Children will sing great songs?!
How about 'Dogs of War'? :) Or 'Imagine'...

Yes, it's amazing that the legacy they want to leave their children includes the destruction of so much... What a dark view of the world...

10. Are those songs about 'heroic' world leaders?
Btw they don't just want it, they are working on it - and just look at how far they'v gotten already. Does the war on terror look like it can be won? Do the Bushish sound as though they expect it to be over soon?

11. Of course not...
All I was trying to point out was that many of the 'songs our children sing' are peace songs... Some of the most popular and long lasting music includes anti-war songs because the 'children' are the ones who wage the wars that these insane old white men create.

And I may jest because at some point I find humor to be my best defense against the blackness and evil that I see spreading from everything this administration seems to touch.

Bush has no plan on leaving Iraq. It will be the staging ground for the next generation of wars that they wage. They are "the dogs of war, the Men of Hate, they have no cause, they don't discriminate"... Rumsfeld went to Iraq, shook Saddam's hand as he delivered Huey helicopters that would be used to gas the Kurds.

We created a puppet to fight Iran when it was convenient, and then we took back our puppet when we were done playing with him... Bush is busy putting his puppets in place so years from now the next generation of Men of Hate can take them back when they are done playing their games of death and destruction for power and money.

9. 'Opeartion If It's Tuesday This Must Be Iran'
Yeah exactly... They're ALL 'Operation Just Because'... Bush/Rumsfeld has no plan for how to fix this mess, and they had no plan to get out in the first place...

Bush: "Rummy, go git the darts... I wanna play my version of 'Risk' on that National Geographical map... heh heh"

Rummy: "Ok, but we'll have to go to war with the army that's left, not the army that I wanted to create from the funds we misappropriated from Afghanistan... Is it an unknowable? Of course. Do I wish we had the draft? You betcha! But how..."

Bush: "Rummy, shut yer cakehole and just git the darts, already!"
