A British associate penned a quick response to the bombing attacks that took place in London this morning. “The message from those claiming responsibility says, in part, ‘Britain is now burning with fear, terror and panic in its northern, southern, eastern, and western quarters,’” he wrote.

"panic in its northern, southern, eastern, and western quarters"

"We know where they are. They're in the area around Tikrit and Baghdad and east, west, south and north somewhat."
- Donald Rumsfeld, March 30, 2003, comments about Saddam's WMDs

Same script writer?

1. Oh that's not the half of it.
don't forget bin laden's speech right after he attacked:

"Here is the United States. It was filled with terror from its north to its south and from its east to its west."

And of course, there is The Coup, whose Album party music was ready for release on september 11th, with this cover:

With the song "ghetto manifesto" with the following lyrics:

We gon' stop the world and make y'all motherfuckers jump off
This is my resume slash resignation
A ransom note with proposed legislation
A fevered ultimatum you should take it verbatim
(snip)

That's what I'm talking about
Make me scream and shout
East, West, North, and South
Gonna turn this party out
Hey, hey

2. What the hell
The man behind the curtain isn't very creative, is he.

But given the people's power to forget, he doesn't have to be.

10. Don't try and bring "The Coup" into it.

They're a very left-wing group that has been producing the same pseudo-communist and affrocentric music since the early 90's.

Their music is pretty much anti-capitalism which is why they portrayed the WTC on their album cover.

5. The Daily Show used Rumsfeld's quote
a few weeks ago. It actually seems like a quote ready made for TDS. Why oh why did Jon go on vacation when he did - he's missed two action packed weeks!
