You guys think the Republican grip on federal power will end when Bush
leaves office?

Part of me hopes to dear god that that will be the case no matter who the RNC tries to groom, Bush is certainly a one of a kind idiot whose charisma to the truly stupid can never be matched by anyone else.

And then another part of me tells me not to underestimate the power of the dark side.

We need to change things in the upper and lower house in 06. Even if the pugs lose the WH in 08 if they have the House and Senate as well as the SCOTUS it won't mean much.
