TODAY - LIVE 8 w/be RERUN by MTV and VH1 COMMERCIAL FREE!
After being taken to task for incessantly interrupting their Live 8 coverage, MTV and VH1 are going to rerun 10 hours of it commercial-free today.

VH1 will broadcast the first five hours starting at 10 am/ET, then the next five will air on MTV beginning at 3 pm.

Wait, music on MTV? Somebody pinch me!

(Poster notes: Don't miss Pink Floyd)

4. Guessing - later this evening.
Pink Floyd comes near the end of the London segment I think.

Looks like VH1 is showing Philly from 10am to 3p.

I'm betting MTV shows London from 3p to 8pm so it's possible the Floyd doesn't happen until later this evening.

7. Looks like each station is broadcasting the same 5 hours. Still....
it's ever so much better without the talking heads and commercials.

8. Nope - Per LynneSin there will be differences:

No, there are some concerts that will be repeated but each channel... is different.

MTv will focus on more of the pop/rap performances where as VH1 will have shows that appeal to their older market. However, there are some shows that both concerts will have because of how great those shows were including U2, McCartney and Pink Floyd
