I'm not sure I'd want him as my President but ... |
|
... Al Sharpton sure seems witty and quick with good answers! No way in hell the "rednecks" of the Country would ever have him though.

I don't think I could vote for him for president, but I think he'd be a really cool cabinet member.
Al Sharpton for Interior? Education? That'd be a kick!

2. Not that they are bigoted |

Its just that they don't hate:
Black People Mexicans Muslims Homosexuals Liberals
As long as you are a NASCAR watching, WWF supporting, conservative, pro-Bush redneck with a confederate flag bandanna covering your mullett, then they are fine with you.

Interesting how he has grown over the years. Of course, he and I have differences but I respect his ability to tell the truth.
RV, who just called Sen. Kennedy's office and gave them all a big hug.

6. Well, I'm no gunnut but I must say |

... It is the one (and main) issue where I believe we Democrats need to reconsider the "party line" on. I for one believe I should have the choice to "keep and bear arms" if I choose (Even if I don't want them around me abode)
... Especially, if the repugs are going to all have them and I don't!
... Just because it's the party line.

Sharpton was a revelation. I've franky thought he was nothing but a self-promoting opportunist...until today.
The man has brains and wit and perspective and poise, and he used them all to good effect today. Before this debate his name made my eyes roll. Now, I want him in the mix. His voice adds value.
I was really quite blown away by him.

For President Dean (or Kucinich, or Clark, or Gephardt, or whatever Dem we decide) to appoint Sharpton to head Bush's "Office of Faith"!

any candidate who is not in to win (or knows he's not going to win) does that, they can afford to say what they mean and what's in their mind.
